Dave Welz has been helping businesses and organizations achieve their storytelling and other communications goals for over 20 years, working in corporate, startup, agency and non-profit environments. His experience include s work in climate communications, public lands conservation, outdoor industry, travel and tourism, and manufacturing.

He is based in the rural community of Durango, Colorado, on the ancestral lands and stolen territories of the Nuuchiu (Ute), Jicarilla Apache (Apache), Pueblos of New Mexico, Hopi Sinom (Hopi), and Diné (Navajo) Nations.

He believes that effective communication has never been more important—for organizations and for society—and that justice, equity and diversity efforts remain a cornerstone of continued success for organizations, campaigns and brands.
